After competing in, and graduating college, I would like to explore the possibility of becoming a professional runner. "What does that mean?" you ask. Well, it's basically exactly what it sounds like. I would like to become fast enough to get paid to run. I'd be competing in track events all around the country, and all over the globe. Running is a huge passion of mine. It quite literally governs my life right now. So naturally I'm going to keep doing it, and going to keep trying to improve in it. Improve enough enough maybe to even go to the Olympics! But that's years from now. Who knows where I'll be at the point.
But of course I'm going to have a back up plan! If running pro doesn't work out in the end, why not go for something else I enjoy just as much. Especially since photography is always going to be around. There will always be room for more photos. My first choice, though, would be to work as a professional sports photographer. And by sports, I mainly mean anything having to do with track and field. Nothing against other sports, I just have a huge preference of track over anything else because I've been involved in it for quite some time. I'd also like to be taking photos of high school and collegiate track and cross country. There's so much going at those events! Plus, there's nothing like supporting your alma mater.
