The ideal position for me to have in the future would be an Art Director. They oversee an entire department within a bisuness. They average over 8 figures a year but the position would be gained over time. Extensive expirence in another marketing department would be required to work the job. To me having that job would be a career milestone.
The general outlook for the graphic desighn feild is that the number of jobs will slightly increase by 5%. The likelyhood of employment was given a D by carrer explorer. This is because the needed amount of Graphic Desighners is 16,700 in ten years. This means employment will be tough. It will be important to learn as many skills as possible to stand out amoung the crowd.
