Hello, my name is Mara Corynn!
I am a graphic design major with a minor focusing on art at Cal U. Before I began my journey here, I spent 7 years of my life in the beauty industry doing hair and makeup. (And no, I will not do yours!) I had lots of incredible experiences and met so many wonderful people, but my passion fizzled out. The pandemic gave me a moment to think and figure out what I really wanted the rest of my life to look like and I am so thankful for the path I have chosen. Though I have always been an artist in some respect, pursuing art and design on a larger scale has been incredibly fulfilling.
Though I don't have much free time these days, I try to spend the little bit I do have with the people and things that make me happy. My hula hoops have kept me grounded for the last 4 years and is my favorite way to spend a spare moment. I enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, camping and pretty much any outdoor activity I can. Live music is also a huge part of my life. There isn't anything I love more than grabbing my LED hoop and getting dizzy at a show!
