I am a sophmore CMT major at CalU of Pennsylvania and my major instrument is the trombone. I have a clorful array of plastic trombones, including one in my favorite color as shown above. I am majoring in Music technology with the aspiration of becoming a skilled sound engineer and Game Sound Designer.

I am passionate about music and I listen to all genres in order to culture myself. My radio show at Cal also tends to showcase the diversity in my listening. I always prepare my shows with care and I hope that I have been introduing others to a sound they may not be quite used to. Music was always a big part of my life because I grew up in a very music oriented environment. My mother, aunts, and cousins all sang in church choir and even if we weren't in church there was always singing and music playing. I learned very quickly at a young age to associate music with joy and all other emotions. My goal for the future is to use my passion and my major to create the same feelings in others that I feel in myself I want to evoke a feeling no matter what it is.

Music Technology is a great major to help broadcast your musical message. I can bring people together, put them in a studio and tell them to make noise which could result in a number of different pieces or sound effect. There is a difference between noise and music but you can still turn noise into something musical with enough effort and Music Tech is a fantastic outlet for that My goal before I retire is to have a home studio and many other studios that I can rent out to others for their craft. Everyone deserves an outlet and if I can provide one I would be more than happy to do so.
