Examples for Projects

Things that need to be done for each project:

              For the 15lbs Battle Bot, students are required to create

         paper sketches followed by DWG files using Autodesk Inventor

         or AutoCAD. An example of a DWG file is pictured to the right.

         An example of a paper sketch is pictured below.*

         *Note how each sketch is labeled with dimensions.

                    Students will also be required to document time

              management through the use of a Project Schedule, which

              will be submitted at the end of each project. An example of

              of a project schedule is located below.

       By creating multiple sketches, students are presenting their thought process to the instructor. It is required for all projects to create multiple sketches, like the image to the left. These "thumbnail sketches" do NOT need to be dimensioned because they are rough sketches.

       These sketches will be used again in the presentation of each project in a pamphlet or powerpoint. A pamphlet is featured to the right, which was a door wedge with a handle.
