Hempfield Area Middle School Robotics Summer Camp Website
Ball Shooter Bot

The high school Bots IQ program worked many long hours, fought hard, and won! They achieved grand champion at regionals in the spring of 2017.

This is an example of what goes on in the pits during heated competition. Multiple people are all working on their specific part of the robot to make it battle ready in under 20 minutes.

Here is a picture of ELI (Hempfield's Robot) ready to go back into battle. Its a little beat up, but still ready to deal some damage.

This is where all the fun happens. This is an aerial shot of the arena moments before a bout started. The judges are ready the fans are ready let the destruction begin.

The picture on the left is just a glimpse of what kind of damage that these robots can deal. Best of Luck next year! Our hope is that some of the middle schoolers become interested through our Lego Robotics Camp, and continue to the Bots IQ level.
