These are the items most commonly used in my line of work. I often record guitarists of varying styles. So, I keep a collection of different strings around at all times. Guitarists are notorious for constantly being out of tune, so having a tuner on hand is a real time saver. The pick and cable are to amplify the signal. The cable does this electronically, while the pick does this acoustically.
