Hello and welcome to my "about page". I am the CEO of Lighthouse Records. My name is Nikolas Shank and I have been in the music business for over twenty years. I first started out playing guitar when I was younger and I later joined a small band. I went to college at California University in Pittsburgh for Commercial Music Technology so I could pursue a career in music. After I graduated, I was finding small jobs and gigs to work at when I meet a band who needed a new guitarist. They accepted me into the band and I stuck with them for eighteen years releasing seven albums. When I left I opened up a music studio that is known as Lighthouse studios.

 

 

I am usually around the studio when I am not with my family or out performing/working gigs. I like to get to know everyone that comes through the studio. I'm really easy to get along with I'm always ready to be a helping hand. It is now my goal in life to help others achieve their goal because I already got to live my dream and now it's your turn.

 

 

I have been working on recording music when I was around 17 years of age. At that time I was recording music for a Pop Punk band I was the guitarist for. Since that year and one I would anyone I could just to get practice. I could have been working on recording myself or some friends I met along my journey. I love recording music which is why you can find me in the studio a lot. I might be the CEO of Lighthouse Studios but I won't give up recording.

 

 

I have worked with hundreds of people throughout my time in the music industry. I've recorded a countless number of songs and bands. I've worked on many music videos and movies. Yes, I have done work with movies due to a friend from high school who wanted someone to work on the music for several movies. I have spread myself thin over my time and I have connections all over the place because I did that. I've made a great life for myself and I want to be able to help others achieve the great life they want.

 

 

I personally, have leaned how to play a large variety of instruments. I started off learning guitar, then bass, drums, vocals,  piano and other random instruments. I didn't learn from a young age like most people. I started playing guitar at the age of 17. So don't worry about your age because I got myself here but I had a lot of help and I'm willing to help you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've spent years building this Studio. I made sure everything was exactly as I dreamed it to be because my dream was of a studio that could help anybody. I made sure we had the right equipment for the screams of the heavy metal bands to the acoustic room for the sounds of country. Like I've said many times, we are here to help you.
