Graphic Design
The photo above is an example of a logo designed for the restaurant Mad Mex, including the name and a simple cactus design.
This is a decal that I found on a wall in my parents' house. It includes a heart with the text "May love be the heart of this home."
This is an example of a logo representing a cosmetic brand, Hempz, that creates products such as, in this case, lotion.
Widely know, the Starbucks brand signature depicting a two-tailed siren (a mythical mermaid) pictured above was designed by artist Terry Heckler.
Lastly, a dish soap container is photographed above showing Palmolive's logo and some of the design on the bottle.
As you can see from these five examples, graphic design is used to produce logos and images for a variety of reasons. These include the sale of products for companies specializing in things such as coffee and food, to cosmetics and cleaning supplies. Decorative decals such as the one shown above are also created by graphic designers.
