High School

I graduated from Connellsville Area Senior High School in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. Throughout my time at the high school, I've created multiple projects for myself and for some of my teachers. Below you will see an "ON AIR" sign I created for the Falcon Productions video studio. During my senior year, I was a member of the Falcon Productions news crew. We would live stream our morning announcements to the entire school through youtube. We also created a project for a state contest, which we placed third in.

Hobby

In my free time, I am a fire photographer. You may be asking what this is. As a fire photographer, I go to different fire companies to tour they stations and take photos and videos of their apparatus. I also record some companies when they are on scene of different calls or if they are responding to the calls as well. Below are some shots of being on scene of calls.

And with each place I go, I learn a lot of history about their apparatus. For example, in the first picture (below left), it is the South Brownsville Volunteer Fire Department's "Tower Ladder 6." Each of the letters and numbers stand for something. This truck was originally a part of the FDNY in New York City. The M stands for Mack, the T stands for Tower, meaning it was a Mack truck that had a tower rather than a pumper. The 80 is the year the truck was made, and the 05 means it was the 5th tower for that year. The second image (below right) is an American Lafrance, formerly from the California Area Volunteer Fire Department, that was donated to the Connellsville Area Career and Technical Center's Protective Services Program.

Work Experience

During the summer of 2017, I had worked as a secretary in my dad's realistate appraisal office. During my time there, my job consisted of processing orders that were received from individuals or banks in the County of Fayette. After these orders were processed, they would be scheduled for the appraiser to go and inspect the properties. After the appraiser inspected the properties, he would create an official report detailing the information and value of the property. Once this was completed, I would check the reports for spelling or mathematical errors and they would be sent back to the individuals or banks.

During the summer of 2018, I had worked as a summer custodian for the Connellsville Area School District. My job consisted of cleaning classrooms in order to prepare them for the upcoming school year. Jobs included scrubbing and moving furniture, stripping floors, scrubbing floors and walls, waxing floors, painting, and even outdoor yard work.
