Melisa Lynn Portfolio

Hello again!

 

My name is Melisa Lynn. I'm from Woodbridge, Virginia. In high school I was in a program called Center for the Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA) where I took classes specialized in creative writing.

 

I came to Cal U because I wanted to pursue a bachelors degree in Creative Writing. After a difficult adjustment to college life, I realized that while I still have a passion for writing, my academic interests lie in Graphics and Multimedia. After taking a class originally intended to satisfy a tech lit requirement, I came to understand that there is so much more to graphics and an exciting and unlimited amount of things I could do or tailor to my interests.

 

With that knowledge, I apply what I learn to my position as Art Director for the school's Paranormal Society. I've created and designed posters, banners, and am in the process of developing different merchandise for the club to sell. Below you'll see a picture of the banner I created.
