About Our Founder

Joshua Wonderling is the founder of Wonder Recording Studios. He was born in raised in McKeesport, Pennsylvania with 1 older brother named Jeremiah Joseph or "JJ" for short. As a young child he never really cared for music because, like many children, he just wanted to go outside and play sports. It was not until 5th grade when Joshua decided he wanted to be a drummer that he joined the band. It was nothing like he thought it would be. He thought he would just be learning to play a drum set all the time. He stayed in band from that point on, learning much more about not only drumming but percussion as a whole.

By his senior year at McKeesport Area High School, Joshua had been in a majority of the music program activities. First and foremost he was a percussionist all throughout high school with a specialty in mallet instruments (xylophone, marimba, vibraphone, etc.) He also sang bass in a capella choir, played cello in string orchestra, participated in all the high school musicals (2 years in the pit, 2 years on stage) He formed a barbershop quartet, played piano for a friend's solo in a concert, and even did indoor color guard for 2 years. At the end of his senior year he had was voted most musical by his peers and received a scholarship for going on in music. He then attended California University of Pennsylvania where he learned everything he needed to create Wonder Recording Studios and make it into what it is today.
